Barney Larry, VP/Business Development and Executive Director of the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation, was presented the 2022 Distinguished Service Award by the Arkansas Hospital Association.

As a community-minded citizen, Barney Larry has always been active in supporting community projects.  Over the last 22 years, Barney has helped expand health care to some of the more rural parts of our communities across North Central Arkansas.

When he is not helping the hospital expand its footprint, he serves as Executive Director of Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation where he has helped develop and strengthen community support centers for women's health, cancer, diabetes, and senior health. His efforts with Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation have helped generate millions of dollars for things like robotic surgery, the state's first mobile mammography unit, a multitude of capitol campaigns for unit remodels and so many other things that our local health system would not financially have the ability to provide if it weren't for Barney and our generous community.

What makes Barney truly extraordinary is that these roles or accomplishments are not how he gauges his success. He finds his success in the relationships he has built over the years and the lives he has helped touch.
