AR NICA will bring an estimated 600 racers and 1200 spectators to the city of Mountain Home area for the weekend.

The 2022 event series brings over 800 student-athletes, 300 coaches, and hundreds of volunteers across the state for six event weekends:

● October 15-16, 2022 Race #3 Clysta Willett Park, Mountain Home, AR
● November 5-6, 2022 Race #4 Centennial Park, Fayetteville, AR
"We are excited to come back to Mountain Home again. Last year was our first time here, the city was very welcoming, and we had a special weekend of racing," says Terry Coddington, league director at Arkansas NICA. "Mountain Biking is a life sport that anyone can do and we would like to invite the community to come out and see how awesome these young athletes are."

Arkansas NICA's goal is to increase access to mountain biking throughout the state for any student-athlete wanting to participate. AR NICA focuses on more than racing, league participants and families enjoy programs and events like GRiT: Girls Riding Together, focused on building community within athletes, trail maintenance and environmental stewardship through Teen Trail Corps, skills camps and clinics, coaches training and development, and Adventure programming that combines mountain biking with games and outdoor experiential education.
