Lake Norfork Water Intake

Baxter County

The City of Mountain Home, Arkansas, in coordination with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), is conducting an online virtual public hearing. This 45-day hearing presents information and requests comments on an Environmental Assessment for a proposed Lake Norfork water intake and pipeline. This proposed project will provide a water supply system to meet current and future needs and address water quality issues within Mountain Home and Baxter County

Information about the project will be available and comments will be accepted between December 5, 2021 through January 19, 2022.

The Environmental Assessment and associated documents are available for public review online and in person at the following locations:
