National Public Works Week was May 18-24, 2025

The year's theme focused on these three keystone principles that public works professionals utilize to serve communities daily. Each year in the spring, a week is taken to celebrate accomplishments while raising awareness of the contributions public works has made to the community.

Public works professionals often will never meet those whose lives they have impacted, because when things are going right, no one knows that public works are there. Yet, with or without fanfare, public works are always present, working in the background to advance quality of life for all.

This year, on certain days, we had planned something special for the employees of the City of Mountain Home Public Works. We had breakfast, lunch, and an equipment rodeo with ice cream to cool things down. We are sharing photos from the week's events, including the list of this year's sponsors.

A great big thank you, and our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the collective effort in making National Public Works Week as successful as it was this year!
